Dawn Beard
As a child, God captured Dawn’s life and set her apart for His call. At 5 years old, she gave her heart to the Lord during a children’s church service. Then at the age of 12, she joined the worship team and has since served in different ministries of the church, including youth, children’s, street outreach, and women’s.
Dawn graduated from the University of Arizona with her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1998 and began working as a nurse in Tucson Arizona. In 2000, God called her to move to California, where she took a position as a cardiac nurse in Pasadena and joined the church she still attends today (Heights Worship Center International Ministries – HWCIM).
God opened the door in 2001, for Dawn to travel to the Philippines, where her heart became burdened for the nations. Four years later, in 2005, God called her to leave her position as a nurse and serve Him full time. Since then, she has traveled around the world, ministering to the needs of the church and reaching the lost through teaching, preaching, outreach, and worship ministry.
She currently serves as the Executive Pastor at HWCIM and the National Worship Director of Filipino-American Fellowship of the Assemblies of God. She is also the founder of Awake the Nations Ministries whose purpose is to equip the Body of Christ within the nations to fulfill their God-given destinies.

Deborah Martinez
Born and raised in Los Angeles in the midst of drugs and a heroine addicted father, lead a life of drugs and rebellion but at the age of 18, I was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Soon after I went into a training program for missions, I was sent to New York to do street ministry and other places like Puerto Rico. When I returned to Los Angeles I met my husband Rick and we begin to serve in our local church at Victory Outreach, we opened our home to women coming off drugs and just out of prison or rehab. Currently, we are attending the Rock Church and World Outreach Center, where I serve on the Women’s leadership team, answering the call to discipleship and empowering women to receive all that God has for them. My God-given passion is to help build the body of Christ, to reach its God given purpose, advancing the Kingdom of God and to promote the furtherance of the Gospel.
